1.0 DATA SET OVERVIEW

This data set contains 1 minute resolution surface meteorological
data from the Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation
Measurement (ARM) Southern Great Plains (SGP) Surface Meteorological
Observation System (SMOS). These SMOS stations are located at many
of the ARM SGP Extended Facilities in southern Kansas and northern
Oklahoma. This data set covers the period from 13 May to 25 June
2002. The data are in netCDF format.
