1.0 DATA SET OVERVIEW

This data set contains 1-minute resolution soil water content and soil
temperature at 7.5, 22.5, 37.5, 60, 90, and 120 cm depths from the Atmospheric
Boundary Layer Experiments (ABLE) operated by the Argonne National Laboratory in
the Walnut River Watershed in Butler County Kansas (east of Wichita). This
data set includes data from the Whitewater, Kansas site. Data cover the
period from 13 May to 25 June 2002 The data are in columnar ASCII
format.
