Summary

The PACIFIC ATMOSPHERIC SULFUR EXPERIMENT is a comprehensive study of the chemistry of sulfur in the romote marine troposphere. Aircraft were based on Christmas Island in the Pacific Ocean from 3 August through 09 September 2007. The NSF/NCAR C-130 was used to carry the chemistry payload. This dataset consists of jpg images taken from a forward looking camera mounted on the C-130. The jpg images are compressed into hourly tar files.
