M-RADON: Marine Radon

Summary

This project was a field test of the sampling system for measuring 222Rn. This technique was later used in the project DYCOMS to measure 222Rn in and just above the marine boundary layer of the stratocumulus region to estimate the rate of entrainment of the free tropospheric air into the boundary layer. The experiment was conducted off the California coast.
