OCFS: Ozone Conservation and Flux Studies
Summary
The main objective of the Ozone Conservation and Flux Studies (OCFS) experiment, was to describe the structure and scale of the momentum, temperature and moisture perturbations which were of primary importance to the storage and transport of energy within the growing PBL energetics, and to compare these results to the results from the numerical models. This project utilized both QueenAir, A-80 and B-80 aircrafts to collect data. This project was concurrent with the Cooperative COnvective Precipitation Experiment (CCOPE).
