Summary

The Multiple Enclosure Device for Unfractionated Sampling of Air (MEDUSA) flask data contains measurements of O2, CO2, Ar/N2 13CO2, and C18O16O. The data were collected by the NCAR GV during HIPPO-3. The data are in NASA Ames format.

    The AO2 and Medusa data sets have been updated to coincide with the publication of Stephens et al., Atmospheric Measurement Techniques, 2021. For Medusa O2 data, this has included some additional flask screening and updates to the Ar/N2 correction. For AO2 O2 data, this has included more extensive QAQC and filtering updates, revisions to the time-or-flight and mean offset corrections, and implementation of an empirical ascent/descent correction, as described in the paper. For both AO2 and Medusa, the O2 data have been updated for a span correction to the SIO O2 Scale.
