NSF/NCAR GV Dropsonde Data (EOL Format) [NCAR/EOL]

Summary

During PREDICT the NSF/NCAR Gulfstream-V aircraft released 558 dropsondes over the Atlantic basin during the months of August and September 2010. This data set includes the G-V dropsonde data set in the EOL columnar ASCII sounding format. This data set has undergone NCAR/EOL quality control, see the readme for details.

    Corrected for a temperature dependent relative humidity and dewpoint dry bias.
