DEEPWAVE: NIWA Haast Radiosonde Data

Summary

The New Zealand National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) released special radiosondes from its site on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand at Hannahs Clearing, South Westland. During the DEEPWAVE field phase, soundings were released from Haast during particular Intensive Observing Periods. This data set includes the quality controlled Haast soundings released for the DEEPWAVE field phase (5 June to 11 July 2014). A total of 51 quality-controlled, high vertical resolution (2-second) soundings are contained in the final DEEPWAVE data set.
