Summary

This data set contains temperature, moisture, and wind profiles from the GRAW radiosondes systems operated by the NOAA/ATDD as part of the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes Experiment-Southeast (VORTEX-SE) Meso2018-19 field season. The release locations varied by observing period, being either in central Alabama (near Montgomery or Auburn) or southeastern Missouri (Sikeston). These data are in the SHARPpy comma delimited ASCII format.

    In the previous version the soundings from 30 November to 2 December 2018 were incorrectly labeled as being from the Montgomery, AL site. This version correctly labels them as being from the SE Montgomery, AL site.
