NCAR REAL Lidar Data [NCAR/EOL]

Summary

This data set contains Raman-shifted Eye-safe Aerosol Lidar (REAL) data collected during the Terrain-induced Rotor Experiment (T-REX) from March 3rd, 2006 to April 30th, 2006. The data represent high resolution two-dimensional images of the atmosphere. The REAL lidar is unique because it is safe for use in highly populated areas.The data set includes tar.gz files spanning 30 minutes.

Each hour's worth of data in netCDF format are contained in 2 tar.gz files totalling ~1.5GB in size.
