This data set contains the cloud-to-ground and in-cloud lightning data from the National Lightning Detection Network (NLDN).

Archive note

Access to this data set is limited to project Principal Investigators.

As of 29 May 2025, this NLDN dataset will not be continuing to collect any real-time data NSF NCAR/EOL doesn't have access to their real-time data feed anymore.
