PLOWS: MISS Surface Meteorological Data

Summary

NCAR/EOL operated the MISS (Mobile Integrated Sounding System) at various locations in the PLOWS domain for the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 field seasons. The MISS took part in PLOWS 2008-2009 IOP-3 and IOP-4 and the 2009-2010 IOP-7-10, 14, 15, 17-19, 21, and 24 . Some data are also included from time between IOPs when the system was located near Champaign, IL. This data set includes the surface meteorological data from the Vaisala WXT510 weather sensor that was operated at the MISS sites. Observations are available every 30 minutes the system was operating. The data are in netCDF format.
