PLOWS: Surface Weather Observation Sectors Map Imagery

Summary

This data set contains maps of surface weather observations over several US sectors (Central Mississippi Valley, Central Plains, Great Lakes, Lower Mississippi Valley, Mid-Atlantic, Northern High Plains, Ohio Valley, Southeast, and Upper Mississippi Valley. The latest observation at the time the plot was generated was utilized, so the plots contain a mix of standard hourly and special observations. The maps were generated by NCAR/RAL.
