Summary

This dataset includes NEXRAD Reflectivity and Velocity Imagery from the VORTEX2 2009 and 2010 Field Catalogs. These imagery products are taken from the NEXRAD station located in Amarillo TX. The files are in gif format. Imagery files are only available for the VORTEX2 field phases for approximately May-June 2009 and April-June 2010. See the related links below to access the field catalogs for the exact time periods covered by this data set.
