VORTEX2: NEXRAD National Composite Imagery
Summary
This dataset includes NEXRAD National Reflectivity Composite Imagery from the VORTEX2 field catalogs for 2009 and 2010. The files are in .gif format. For 2010 there is radar images for National 0.5 degree Reflectivity Mosaic (N0R) and National Max Column Reflectivity Mosaic (NCR). For each type of radar there are composite, east, and west images. Imagery files are only available for the VORTEX2 field phases for approximately May-June 2009 and April-June 2010.
