VORTEX2: High Plains Climate Network Data

Summary

This data set contains the High Plains Climate Network (HPCN) hourly surface data for the VORTEX2 2009 and 2010 field phases for approximately May-June 2009 and May-June 2010. Data are provided in month files by station for 125 stations within Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. The following parameters are included in these data: Air Temperature, Relative Humidity, Soil Temperature, Wind Speed, Wind Magnitude, Vect dir, Vect SD, Rad Flux, and Total precipitation. The data are provided "as is" in their original format.
