NSF/NCAR GV Dropsonde Data [NCAR/EOL]



During PREDICT the NSF/NCAR Gulfstream-V aircraft released EOL/AVAPS dropsondes over the Atlantic basin during the months of August and September 2010. This data set has undergone NCAR/EOL quality control, see the readme for details.

    This data has been corrected for a dry bias and the files have been renamed.

  • 2.0 (2016-06-28):

    This dataset has been corrected for a temperature dependent dry bias and the filenames have been changed. 

  • 3.0 (2016-08-02):

    Corrected for a temperature dependent relative humidity and dewpoint dry bias.
