Lake-ICE: GOES-8 VIS, IR, and WV Satellite Data (AREA)
Summary
This dataset contains GOES-8 satellite data for the Lake-ICE/Snowband Project. The data is in compressed McIDAS area file format. The WV, IR and VIS were archived at 30 minute intervals except during the rapid scan events. Rapid Scan Data is available for Jan 10-14, 21, 23 in a companion dataset (14.22)
