Lake-ICE: NEXRAD Level II Base Data for Grand Rapids, MI (KGRR)
Summary
This dataset references NEXRAD level II Base data for the Grand Rapids, MI WSR-88D radar during the Lake-ICE project. The time period for this project was from 11/30/97 - 12/21/97 and 1/7/98 - 1/24/98. See also the companion datasets 14.32 and 14.33 which contain data from Marquette, MI (KMQT), and Alpena/Gaylord, MI (KAPX). While these data had been supported as bit files available through the EOL system, such dual-archive redundancy is no longer required, and the user is referred directly to NCDC.
