Summary
This data set contains 3-hourly visible imagery over Continental South America. The dataset contains data for the period Aug 01, 2001 to September 6, 2013. This data is archived on HPSS at /EOL/1995/pacs/satellite/GOES/sa_e in monthly tar files of GIF images. This dataset is large (about 200 MB per month). If you cannot access HPSS and want to order this data, please send an email to codiac AT ucar.edu
