GCIP/ESOP-98: GOES-8 VIS LSA-NC Sector Images
Summary
GOES-8 Visible satellite imagery collected for the GCIP Enhanced Seasonal Observing Period 1998 (ESOP-98) via McIDAS-X and then converted to GIF image format. These images are at 1 km resolution and are sectors over the LSA-NC region. These data are available for browsing purposes, and should not be used for detailed scientific analyses.
