TOGA COARE soundings from Biak
Project:
Summary
This dataset consists of sounding data from Biak in Indonesia (WMO 97560) which was operated by the Indonesian Meteorological Service. Soundings were taken twice daily (00 and 12 UTC) during the IOP and EMP. The data were processed through the automated, visual, and spatial quality control processes. This dataset includes pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and altitude. Data were taken at 30 second vertical intervals during the IOP prior to 17 January 1993, six second vertical intervals during the IOP after 17 January 1993, and a variable vertical resolution during the EMP. Refer to the station README file for details.
