FASTEX soundings from St. Johns (Canada)
Summary
This dataset consists of sounding data from St. Johns, Canada (WMO 71801) which was operated by the Atmospheric Environment Service in Canada. Soundings were taken four time per day (00, 06, 12, and 18 UTC). The data underwent the automated and visual quality control processes. This dataset consists of pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, and altitude at a variable vertical resolution (no high resolution data were made available, thus PTH data consists only of significant level data). Wind speed and wind direction are also in this dataset at one minute vertical intervals. Refer to the station README for details.
