STORM-WAVE: NWS High Resolution Radiosonde Data
Summary
The USWRP STORM-WAVE 6-second NWS Soundings dataset contains high resolution sounding data extracted from NWS MicroART Sounding systems at 34 sites in the STORM-WAVE domain. The dataset contains one sounding level every 6 seconds. This dataset includes pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and altitude. These data have been extensively quality-controlled, with every sounding subjected to both computerized consistency checks and human visual review.
