NSF C-130 Meteorology Dropsonde GPS
Summary
NCAR EOL dropsonde data from the NCAR C-130. Dropsondes were taken as requested. These data were processed through automated quality control. These data include pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and altitude taken at 1/2 second vertical intervals. A detailed README is provided. Consult the README for a list of times when a dropsonde profile is available. The README also describes the automated quality control procedures and provides a detailed explanation of the sounding file format.
