R/V Le Suroit 915MHz Wind Profiler Data [NCAR/EOL]
Summary
This dataset contains 915 MHz wind profiler data collected by the NCAR/EOL Integrated Sounding System (ISS) aboard the French ship R/V Le Suroit during the Fronts and Atlantic Storm Track Experiment that took place in 1997. This dataset includes 30 minute consensus winds data with two range-gate extents (wHHMMa.JD files are 98 meter range-gate, while wHHMMb.JD files are 56 meter range-gateHH is hour, MM is minute, JD is Julian day). These data are in ASCII format and have not been quality controlled.
