UMRBPP: Four Corners High Resolution Rawinsonde Data Set

Summary

This is one of the sounding datasets developed for the Upper Missouri River Basin Pilot Project (UMRBPP). The dataset consists of research soundings form the Four Corners site and contains vertical profiles of pressure, temperature, dew point, humidity, U and V wind components, total wind speed and direction, and latitude and longitude taken every 10 seconds after the sonde's release time. The soundings were typically released at 00 and 12 UTC, but there were occassional releases at 06 and 18 UTC. Note: since the files are loaded in the database using the actual release time, use the hour just before or a couple hours before the UTC release time when attempting to browse the dataset. UCAR/JOSS performed automated quality control on this data. See the README for further information.
