DC3: GOES-East Imager Thermal IR CH4 Data

Summary

This dataset contains GOES-13 Imager CH4 Thermal IR Satellite data (AREA format). The data are provided as TAR/GNU zip files. Each tar file contains all routine GOES sectors scanned for that date. These sectors are the original GOES sectors, including CONUS, Northern Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere, Full Disk and Rapid Scan (as available). The suggested software for manipulating and displaying these data is McIDAS. The data covers the DC3 project study area from 15 May to 30 June 2012.
