Summary

This data set contains NASA DC-8 Penn State Airborne Tropospheric Hydrogen Oxides Sensor (ATHOS) Data collected during the Deep Convective Clouds and Chemistry Experiment (DC3) from 11 May 2012 through 22 June 2012. This data set is in ICARTT format. Please see the header portion of the data files for details on instruments, parameters, quality assurance, quality control, contact information, and data set comments.

  • 2.0 (2018-06-19):

    New, improved calibration results in ~14% decrease in OH and HO2. Some bad points removed.

  • 3.0 (2021-03-03):

    The Version 3 of this HOx data has higher temporal resolution, up to 5 Hz.  This data can show more spatial variability in the sampled airmass than the previously submitted 1 Hz data.  The integration is constant, with the shortest at 0.2 sec.
