DC3: NASA DC-8 NOAA CSD PALMS Data
Summary
This data set contains NASA DC-8 data that were obtained with the Particle Analysis by Laser Mass Spectrometry (PALMS) instrument during the Deep Convective Clouds and Chemistry Experiment (DC3) from 4 May 2012 through 22 June 2012. This instrument measured either the positive or negative ion spectrum of each particle after it is hit with a pulse from a 193 nm excimer laser.
This data set is in ICARTT format. Please see the header portion of the data files for details on instruments, parameters, quality assurance, quality control, contact information, and data set comments.
