Mobile GPS Radiosonde Data from CSU (Vaisala Format)

Project:

Summary

This data set contains high resosolution data from the Colorado State University mobile radiosonde system that was deployed for the MPEX project. A total of 55 soundings were released in locations in the pre-convective and convectively disturbed environments near deep convective storms in the central United States over the period from 10 May to 14 June 2013. The data set includes the raw data files, a processed version of the files, and skewt images. These data were provided by Russ Schumacher of Colorado State University. These data will soon be available in the NCAR/EOL ESC format to match the rest of the MPEX sounding data sets.
