Tethered Balloon Data

Summary

This dataset includes microfilm of tethered balloon data from US ships (Researcher, Oceanographer, Dallas) for Phases II and III of the Global Atmospheric Research Program's (GARP) Atlantic Tropical Experiment (GATE). Vessel, phase, and flights are specified in the "Description" section on the order page.

Archive note

These data are available on microfilm however we do not have the capability to digitize or replicate and ship them.  They are available for viewing on location at the NCAR Foothills Laboratory using our microfilm viewer.
