OWLeS: SUNY-Oswego Mobile Radiosonde Data
Summary
The State University of New York at Oswego (SUNY-Oswego) operated a mobile radiosonde system during lake-effect systems on Lake Ontario. SUNY-Oswego operations were on the east and southeast end of Lake Ontario. This data set includes the quality controlled SUNY-Oswego soundings released for the Ontario Winter Lake-effect Systems (OWLeS) field phase (7 December 2013 to 28 January 2014). A total of 51 quality controlled, high resolution (1-second) soundings are contained in the final OWLeS data set.
