Overshooting Tops Product MTSAT in SPDB

Project:

Summary

This dataset contains the overshooting tops product from the High Altitude Ice Crystals - High Ice Water Content (HAIC-HIWC) project that took place in Darwin, Australia. This data product is derived from the MTSAT satellite data using the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) Research Applications Laboratory's (RAL) TITAN data system and is in Symbolic Product database (SPDB) format. SPDB stores its data in day files, with two files per day, one which contains the data chunks and one which contains the index of the data chunks. The files are named:
yyyymmdd.indx (index file)
yyyymmdd.data (data file).
The files are grouped into one .tar file.
