STORM-FEST GOES-7 VAS Dwell Soundings
Summary
The GOES-7 VISSR Atmospheric Sensor allowed for the derivation of Dwell Soundings consisting of vertical profiles of temperature and moisture. The interval and number of dwell soundings depended on whether the satellite was in normal or RISOP operations. Data are available from NOAA/NESDIS
