STORM-FEST DMSP SSM/I Digital Data
Summary
The USAF/DMSP consists of 3 near polar orbiting satellites that provided global microwave data from the SSM/I. SSM/I provides water vapor measurements (1400 km swath) at three frequencies (19.35, 37.0, 85.5 GHz). Up to 4 overpasses of the STORM-FEST region were made daily.
