ACE-1: NOAA-12 SST Imagery
Summary
NOAA-12 POES Derived Sea Surface Temperature (SST) imagery collected during the ACE-1 Intensive Operations in Hobart, Tasmania, via the Australian CSIRO, then converted to GIF image format. These images consist of color enhanced SST composites (two or more subsequent overpasses) at 4 km resolution, collected every overpass (typically 2 times per day). Digital SST data were collected by the CSIRO from which these images were created.
