ACE-1: NOAA-12 VIS Channel 2 Imagery
Summary
NOAA-12 POES Visible (VIS) Channel 2 imagery collected during the ACE-1 Intensive Operations in Hobart, Tasmania, via the Naval Postgraduate School (NPGS) portable SeaSpace Terrascan receiver system, then converted to GIF image format. These images consist of horizon to horizon scans at 4 km resolution, collected every overpass (typically 2 times per day). Digital Terrascan format files were collected by the NPGS from which these images were created.
