ACE-1: GMS-5 IR Aircraft Track Imagery
Summary
GMS-5 Infrared (IR) imagery (with aircraft track overlaid on plot) collected during the ACE-1 intensive operations in Hobart, Tasmania, from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. These images consist of the Southern Ocean (image center 30 deg S, 140 deg E), 8 km resolution, collected every hour. Digital McIDAS area format data files were collected hourly by OFPS from which these GIF images were created.
