Shortwave and Longwave Radiation Composite

Projects:

Summary

ARM SGP SIROS data, ARM SGP SIRS data, ARM SGP BSRN data, ARM SGP 25m MFR data, and HPCN data have been composited together into one data set. This data set is composed of 30-minute averages of observations taken either at 20 seconds (SIROS, SIRS and MFR) or 60 seconds (BSRN); or hourly data (HPCN). The SIROS and SIRS data contains observations of Upwelling and Downwelling Longwave and Shortwave Irradiance. The BSRN data has Downwelling Longwave and Shortwave; the MFR network contains Upwelling Longwave and Shortwave Irradiance; and the HPCN contains solar radiation equivalent to Downwelling Shortwave. These data were not quality controlled by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research/Joint Office for Science Support (UCAR/JOSS).
