High Rate (HRT - 25 sps) Navigation, State Parameter, and Microphysics Data in NetCDF format

Project:

Summary

This data set includes airborne measurements obtained from the NSF/NCAR QueenAir, B-80 aircraft (Tail Number N306D) during the Second COastal Dynamics Experiment (CODE-II) project. This dataset contains high rate navigation, state parameter, and microphysics flight-level data in netCDF format.

  • 1.0 (2016-12-02):

In the file for flight RF06A, there is a 3-second spike in the latitude at 17:30:00 that is clearly incorrect. This will need to be masked and maybe interpolated to make the data useful. Choice of what to do here is left to the user.

As of this release, the data for RF15, RF19, and RF22 was not able to be converted to NetCDF. If you require these files, please contact EOL at the link below.
