Summary

This file contains a glacial geology map of the Upper Kuparuk River Region, Alaska. This map is based on a previous map of the region at 1:250,000 scale (Hamilton, 1978) and field reconnaissance in 1996. It was mapped from color-infrared aerial photographs taken in 1982 and enlarged to 1:25,000 scale. This product was partially funded by the LAII/ATLAS project. The latitude/longitude of the center of this map is (UTM) 7615000N, 405000E.
