Ivotuk Vegetation Data (ASCII) [Racine, C.]

Project:

Summary

This dataset contains the Snow, Shrubs, and Weather Group's vegetation data taken from the Ivotuk site in July of 1998 and July of 1999. The goal of the vegetation sampling was to relate snow depth to vegetation type and structural characteristics along four transects: Otuk, Iteriak, SE Lake, and Kucher Ck. In the summer the location of change from one vegetation type to the next was recorded. Then each vegetation type was characterized relevant to the trapping of blowing snow. All data are in ASCII format.
