TDWR: National Weather Service Soundings [NWS]
Summary
These data sets are from a National Weather Service (NWS) sounding station near Denver's Stapleton International Airport to support ATD and MMM scientists testing concepts to nowcast thunderstorms and related phenomena. Data were collected during the summer of 1988, 1989 and 1991. It is recommended that data orders be restricted to one year period at a time. Data from 1989 and 1991 are in multiple files and ascii format. Data from 1988 are in a single tar file and are in binary format.
