MP3 University of Wisconsin SPARC Doppler Lidar Zenith Pointing Data

Summary

This data set contains the vertically pointing data from the ARM Halo Streamline Doppler Lidar that was included in the PECAN Mobile PISA 3 University of Wisconsin SPARC facility. Parameters include vertical velocity, backscatter, and cloud base height. Data were collected from locations around the central United States during PECAN observing periods. There are both daily netCDF data files and daily quicklook images included in this data set.

    This version released on 5 October 2016 has two updates. First, this version is more complete as additional raw data was found. Second, this version corrects a 180 degree offset in the horizontal winds in the VAD analysis.
