Cayenne WRF Model Data

Project:

Summary

This dataset contains WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model data from the High Altitude Ice Crystals - High Ice Water Content (HAIC-HIWC) project that took place in Cayenne, French Guiana. WRF is a state-of-the-art atmospheric modeling system designed for both meteorological research and numerical weather prediction. The data file output is from the WRF V3.6.1 model. The data files are in gzipped netCDF format. The forecasts are created once every 6 hours at 00, 06, 12 and 18 hours. For best results, only order one 6 hour period at one time, since the data files are very large.
