Project:

Summary

This data set contains University of Alabama Huntsville Advanced Radar for Meteorological and Operational Research (ARMOR) data. It was collected during intense observation periods between 24 February and 1 May 2016 for the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes EXperiment-Southeast (VORTEX-SE) 2016 field campaign. Data is in the Universal Format (Common Doppler Radar Exchange Format) and has been quality controlled. For more information about the instrument, data format, and quality control procedure, see the included documentation pdf.
