Multi-Network Composite Highest Resolution Radiosonde Data
This data set contains a composite of the highest vertical resolution (i.e. the “native resolution”) upper air sounding data from all sources for the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Thunderstorms Experiment-Southeast 2016 (VORTEX-SE_2016) project. The composite includes 1488 soundings from all VORTEX-SE 2016 sounding systems (Purdue, ULM, NOAA/ATD, MSU iMet, MSU WindSond, and TTU) as well as from the National Weather Service.
