Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) Model Data
Summary
This dataset contains Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model data from the High Ice Water Content (HIWC) Radar Study project that took place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. WRF is a state-of-the-art atmospheric modeling system designed for both meteorological research and numerical weather prediction. The data file output is from the WRF V3.7 model. The data files are in gzipped netCDF format. The forecasts are created once every 6 hours at 00, 06, 12 and 18 hours. For best results, only order one day of data in one data request, since the data files are large.
