WE-CAN: National Weather Service High Resolution Radiosonde Data

Summary

This data set includes 1726 quality controlled NWS (National Weather Service)  soundings released at 14 sites throughout the western United States during the  WE-CAN (Western Wildfire Experiment for Cloud Chemistry, Aerosol Absorption and  Nitrogen) field phase (20 July to 19 September 2018). Thirteen of the stations are available at 1-second vertical resolution (1608 soundings) and one station is available at mandatory and significant level resolution (118 soundings).
